« Stravinsky Piano Music » celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Rite of Spring. Best known for his three ballets “The Firebird”, “Petrushka” and “The Rite of Spring”, Igor Stravinsky was one of the leading composers of the 20th century.

Stravinsky also wrote a small number of piano works, four of which are included here, including “Dumbarton Oaks concerto”, transcribed for piano duet by the composer and is rarely found on CD recordings.

These fine compositions deserve a wider audience.

The talented piano Duet “Ursula von Lerber and Christian Erbslöh” offer here a beautiful and sensitive interpretation for the Igor Stravinsky Foundation
